At Jaxvale Horsemanship, I don’t teach one  single discipline, I teach you the foundation that makes every  discipline possible. I teach you the essence of how to train your horse,  so you can be successful in any situation. 

 I help horse and human teams build the kind of relationship, clarity,  and communication that turns challenges into confidence and “maybe  someday” into “absolutely yes.”

Many sports tell you to focus on the icing.  I help you bake the cake, so you are ready for that icing! 

I’m  Ashley, a relationship-based horsemanship instructor who has been  actively teaching since 2009, guiding riders and horses toward deeper  understanding. Whether your goal is liberty work, great  groundwork with  a line, bridleless riding skills, or simply a calmer, happier  partnership, I aim to meet you exactly where you are, and show you how  good each moment with your horse can be.

From  solving everyday problems like trailer loading or farrier confidence,  to building the foundation for bridleless riding, sport success, or  effortless, clear communication, I specialize in giving you the skills  to create the relationship of your dreams with your horse.

As  a freelance coach based in the San Jose area, and willing to travel all  over the Bay Area. I come directly to your barn, so you and your horse  can learn in the place that feels safest, to make the most progress in  the time we have together.
